American Idol: Top 6 (Queen Week & Contestant's Choice)

Elise Testone - 'Bold As Love' by Jimi Hendrix
Said it time and again - song choices make or break her. BREAK. It's not necessarily people's cup of tea.

Elise Testone - 'I Want It All'  by Queen
Good arrangement, good energy - one of her better ones for sure.

Phillip Phillips - 'The Stone' by Dave Matthews Band
He performs a song sung by one whom he has so similar musicalities with. This is the type of record he'll probably be producing. Not the most amazing performance, but he has stamped his signature sound in the industry.

Phillip Phillips - 'Fat Bottomed Girls' by Queen
I'm rather worried for him, because he has got a chance of getting eliminated tomorrow. This sounded so grinding on the ears. Hated it.

Jessica Sanchez - 'Dance With My Father' by Luther Vandross
Geesh, the wind blowing through her hair, the classy staging, the pristine vocal quality, seriously, she's like in a different league. Can't believe Skylar Laine is still in after watching this woman's performance.

Joshua Ledet - 'Ready For Love' by India.Arie
Very risky to pick an India.Arie song (I mean, I only know one song from her, and she was that woman who got so many Grammy nominations but won nothing LOL) But he really nailed this.

Joshua Ledet - 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love' by Queen
There's something very overused about this song. No disrespect, he did a good job, but uhh the amount of times this has been rehashed...
Jessica Sanchez - 'Bohemian Rhapsody' by Queen
SO DISTURBING TO SEE 3 JESSICAS IN THE VIDEO. Did not like this. She should've done something more refreshing. Another rehashed competition song. Ergh.

Hollie Cavanagh - 'The Climb' by Miley Cyrus
This woman never goes away. Her elimination is WAY OVERDUE. To be honest though, this came out unexpectedly good. Hit almost all the right notes. I'd rather she last longer than Skylar and Elise.

Hollie Cavanagh - 'Save Me' by Queen
In a week where everyone had at least one bad track, I thought her two song choices were the strongest today. She surely will be saved this week. BUMMER.

Skylar Laine - 'The Show Must Go On' by Queen
How in the...Skylar & Queen?! Yes, everyone expected a disaster, but surprisingly, this was so refreshing. Out with the bored-to-tears country tracks. Definitely not within her comfort zone, but this was pretty cool. She hit notes she never hit before.

Skylar Laine - 'Tattoos on This Town' by Jason Aldean
This is probably what she's going to perform as a guest alumnus next season, which brings me to two points. She is a very seasoned country singer despite her age, and she has found herself her niche country market. That's all that matters, right? I'll probably just skip that guest performance next season, that's all.
