flying off tonight to.....

sounds totally like places u can only dream of going. lol.
that means:
1) i'll be missing project runway, apprentice, so you think you can dance, project superstar, amazing race, amazing race asia. OMG. never mind, getting bro to tape for me.
2) i'll die of music drought. NO NEW SONGS FOR 2 WEEKS OMG?
3) GOING OVERSEAS. cold weather, winter clothings, designer clothes. LOL. time to take some nice photos and nice sceneries. not forgettin shopping.
4) better take care of my health and voice over the next 2 weeks.
5) getting hell and working hell for psl once im back.
6) CARD GAMES!!!!! lol
7) lesser smses. cheaper bill. LOL.
8) NO DOTA. wth. thats tragic.

its like 5 more days before i leave for trip.

a near-death experience.
i could've died yesterday.
have been sick for the past 5 days. and it didn't get any better despite the lots of sleep, the cautious diets i took, the gallons of water i took, save for one fine-dining meal which took 4 hours @ the humble house. ($100+ per person ok)
haven't been online for many many days also. and yesterday i fainted.
yes. i fainted.
slept helll long yetserday morning until around 11. after taking like 5 spoons of noodles i felt dizzy so i decided to walk upstairs back to my room.
as i walked...my head was pounding like mad. and my vision slowly disappeared. everything seemed to just shut down on you and once i entered my room i fainted with a loud bang. my head knocked against the wall, and i pulled my rotating chair down with me. it was like a few minutes later when i woke up and i realized i was still alive and feeling better.
holy shit. life could just end like that. i dun know why i was experiencing that. i seldom get sick, but this is the very time i tot i had died. so i went back to sleep. and after a few hours, went to singapore recreation club where wenjian's parents fetched me to indoor stadiiummmm to watch notre dame. then met walter there also. . somehow i felt perfectly better. i am still wondering if i'm still 'alive'. lol. ok lah i think i am.
notre dame was nice. though its in like french, there are like chinese and english subtitles shown on the screens, which totally hardly coincided with one another. the songs were well composed, singers not bad too. some dance sequences were quite impressive too, though some were very much random, esp those breakdance moves. thank you, i'm not in some rapper's party.
tonight, i shall sleep early again. no choir tomorrow, so can recuperate tomorrow.

and i'm telling you i'm not going - bianca ryan
yesterday was one of the most mentally and physically draining days. for some reason it was.
started off with sectionals as usual. ended slightly later than the scheduled timing as usual, before heading for lunch. by right, we were supposed to be back at 1200.
over the months, i've come to compare sectionals and the overall persona of basses and sopranos.
sopranos: very fun and lively bunch, a very cheery atmosphere. but we get too carried away with uncalled distractions and spend too much time gettin ppl back into focus. but we're very bonded, although somehow it has led us to take A VERY VERY LONG TO TO DECIDE on sectional's timings.
basses: very dull and boring, YET sectionals are quite productive, considering the large amount of basses. majority of basses are well focused, though some might not be as serious as they seem. not as bonded as sopranoes, but basses don't hesitate in making decisions.
i do'nt know. but this has seem to be somewhat a tradition over the years. very puzzling.

well, we reached the design centre at 1205. and thats how we ended ourselves in unnecessary trouble.
and it dawned me that i should be freaking embarassed with myself considering i'm the vicechairman and i knew i was totally not setting an example. well, no more dillydally for future lunch breaks. and from that moment on, i somewhat got a slight feverish on my forehead --> which ended up in a fever. no idea how it happened, considering that i have been sleeping 10pms recently. worse still, yesterday evening, had to go to doc to take blood test because MY IC or HEALTH BOOKLET had no indication of my bloody type.
imagine gettin sick and having to take a jab on BOTH HANDS (bcoz apparently the doctor did not pricked the needle into my left vein properly. so he had to do it on my right hand. i almost died.)
today went to change my passport photo. bought a new adidas watch as i had no watch previously. and after the 'latecoming' incident, i guess i needed to be more punctual eh. came back home, slept, took soupy noodles, revise scores, blog, back to sleep, not forgetting smsing baby w for more saucy stuff.
i love this life man.
anyway, will be having a concert at VCH next sunday. 3.15pm. $12 for stall seats. pls sms or msn me if interested. thankss.

PL camp
ok before moving on to the PL camp, lets first talk about the sec 4 grad ceremony!
ushering duties were kind of rushed. some people didn't know what to do, coz there were many absentees (and i'm giong to kill those who didn't come) and thus had to make do without them and improvise with those who came. turned out pretty successful on our part. gave the programme booklet, led parents to seats, helped out with the certs. all in all ushers did a good job. the event was quite enjoyable too, considering the fact that they divide the giving of certificates into 3 segments, slotting in a video clip in between each segment. so not as boring as last time when u had to give all the classes' certs at one go.
mr lim sends his regards to the sec 3 helpers on that day. thanks guys!

after that, chionggggggggg to school for pupil leaders camp. my group:
Group 2 - Poseidon - Louis. JonLim. Binglong. Tom. Hiokhong. Danny. JonNeo. Leonard. BiRan.
a really great group to work with. everyone was very spontaneous and lively haha. and added the fact that i alreayd know some of them makes the land and sea expeditions a more enjoyable and fruitful journey.
first started with the land expedition, where we had to manuever checkpoint to checkpoint and finally reach the endpoint. this whole journey began at pasir ris parkway, after we took off our blindfolds . so binglong helped to navigate the way and after hours, finally reached FIRST checkpoint. yayyy~~~~ then halfway during the hike, some of us had to be blindfolded, some had to be piggybacked... damn tiring can. all thanks to our evil group insttructors haha, ravi and kexin. =P
but NEVERMIND. we had our food rations which we bought earlier. chips ahoy, famous amos, not forgetting the 26 packets of hello pandas. u eat so much that u'll end up shitting hello pandas. so finally after walking and walking and talking about ghost shows, we finally reached our destination!!! so set up tent and slept.
next morning, did pt and the pt was very noisy. lol. the guy keep shouting my ear drums abotu to burst. and i realize i suck at situps. after which, we went kayaking!!! kayaked with binglong. and i tell you, my kayakin rocks ok. i keep knocking the raft and i can't syncro with my partner LOL. =.=
finaly reached detination. played some games that involved teamwork and coordiation and trust. then kayaked back, where it was super stormy n yr kayaks will bob UPPPP and DOWNNN and UPPPP and DOWNNN. finally reached ri. reach ri... played this 'quest for the golden fleece', where we had to find an object in school which had a huge significence in playing a part in the rafflesian spirit. turned out to be the raffles flag which was hanging at the astroturf. day 2 ends like that....
day 3 begins and day 3 was quite slack after PT. all the 12 grps did our hilarious presentations about the 5 core values, namely: Inspiring a shared vision, modelling the way, encouraging the heart, enabling others to act, and challenging the process. then dhm gave a talk and after which came the shocking enws of ms sim no longer being our year head 4 next year. ='(
heard it'll be a new year head next year from sji. looks like its a new beginning!

the covenant
I will you my power!!!omg the covenant was just plain cheesy. its about 4 men who mysteriuosly have mysterical powers and they try and conquer the mystery of the 5th convenant who has mysterially been rumored to be dead, which mysteriuosly did not die in some freak mysterious change of events. and with all the mysterious spiders crawling everywhere and the mysteriously random scenes of them bathing and swimming, this movie gets a mysterious rating of 2/5.
oh and steven strait, the main actor, also acted in sky high. lol. no wonder i found him familiar.

kind of touching that the year has come to an end.... with a pinata haha (i set up the pinata waha). will miss great teachres like mr wee, mrs albar and of course our year head ms sim. but life has gotta move on! now gotta revv myself up for choir trip and some ceccouncil matters, as well as psl issues. till then, gotta pack my PL camp. where in the world are my track pants.
