aww i can't believe hady actually won by 133% of jon's votes. (yes he received 700k to jon's 300k votes). and i can't believe some other things:

• applauding the fact that the top 10 finalists sang very recent pop songs, shouldn't they have sung live? after all, its a singing compitition, NOT a lip-syncing competition, though gayle and jasmine lip-synched pretty impressively well.
• i was cringing at energy's DA-rling DA-rling. real cheesy.
• i can't believe how gurmit actually announced the winner so abruptly
• i can't believe ken lim actually reminded hady to be more inspirational even after hady won. like hello, give him a break, he beat jon by a few hundred thousand votes. sadly, jon did not win as what the judges would have very much wanted him to win. no bananas!
• what was mathilda wearing?
• what was emilee singing?and joakim? (i can't imagine if they actually sang LIVE.)

omg, so critical. but really, if you should join a singing competition, you should never lip-sync. did american idol contestants do that? hell no. this reminds me of the hilarious corny cheers from the hady and jon fans. imagine katherine mcphee fans going 'GO GO KATHERINE! OOOOOHHHH KATHERINE!' she'll fall off the stage like how kari fell off the runway.

ooh RUNWAY. gina and jade rocks. 'you think you feel sorry for me? i feel sorry for YOU coz you don't understand ANYTHING!' jade's take on janice dickinson: 'we get along real well. i can relate to her very well because we are on the same level.' still, gina got eliminated, due to her lack of facial experssions. bryan chia did the 'i'm-on-one-foot-and-i'm-laughing' routine. hilarious. and that retarded photo shot look was even funnier.

k on a more serious note, today i was officially the cec council in-charge. and as i was flipping through the pages of rafflesian, i realized THERE IS NO SEGMENT DEDICATED FOR CEC COUNCIL! how frustrating can that be when the past committees did so much for the school? i believe something has gotta be done. so...for my next project, to change the ship symbol and to carry out my PTM well. thanks kexin for all the help!

today is american singapore idol finals! its jonathan vs taufik. eh wait. its hady vs sylvester. eh wait. its JONATHAN VS HADY! yay!!!

when i received the news this morning from mr tan, i was like 'uhh...i really dont want this post'. budden, he somewhat convinced me and i really had to accept it. after all, it was a responsibility that they gave. they saw something in me. and i believe i can live up to their expectations.

for that very moment, i felt wanted again.
and the thoughts of all my friends and family coming to support me and everything, it just went into my mind, and i went 'SHOOT. I'M DOING THIS. SAY WHAT YOU LIKE.'

speaking of friends, i've really been very busy and hardly got time to go out for our recesses and lunches. and i hope i'll be less busy these days. but with everytime approaching so soon, i doubt there'll ever be such a day coming. nevretheless, LETS CHIONG FOR CTS. and after that HECK CARE.

for rs, i will give myself maybe 6.5/10. 3.5 went to lack of confidence, shaky pitch (which somehow i wasn't interested in putting control in) and pronounciation. well, yinwei the jduge said that he like how i blended the two songs together, but found me pitchy. wok said i was pitchwise good, but said she didn't like the transition part of the two songs. the other two judges whom didn't seem significant merely agreed.
so i'm not giving myself any false hopes. coz realistically speaking, if i get thru, it'll just be one of my good days.

and nowadays, i just can't concentrate in class. like i don't know what i am in school for. for lessons or for cca/miscellaenous stuff. right now, i'm watching amazing race.

coz if you're not showing survivor, theres always something called youtube. who needs tv now.

westlife concert was really fun.
but i thought it ended a little too early.
they missed out on songs like 'unforgettable', 'bop bop baby' and 'ain't that a kick in the head'.
overall it was an interesting concert, everything went well.
they had some interesting renditions of some songs, like 'addicted to love', 'don't cha' (this was particularly funny, they replaced the words girlfriend with boyfriend. so it went like don't cha wish yr boyfriend was hot like me. hilarious), 'senorita' (this one the crowd wasn't spontaneous enough haha. when westlife sang 'it feels like something's heating up, cannot leave with choooo', the gals were like silent haha.
well, they didn't disappoint with their powerhouse vocals and performed impressively well for some songs which were particularly high in range, like 'world of our own', 'you raise me up <-- this was their final encore piece', and great ballads like 'mandy' and 'swear it again'.
all in all, a great concert. set aside someone who came late with my tickets. GRMPH. and i dun care, i'm going to pay you 60 bucks lalala.

gosh, yesterday's president star charity was quite a failure. instead of showing how many calls were receieved, the indicator showed how much money was raised. this is to make it look aesthetically appealing to the viewers.

yet,yet,yet... we raised only $320000+. HOWEVER, with all the big sponsors coming in to donate money, we managed to earn $4.2 million!

YAY WELL DONE SINGAPOREANS!!

played dota today. won 4 for 4 lol.

yestrday performed for teachers day, which was somewhat lastminute once again. but well, it doesn't really bother me after performing so many times and gettin so much exposure. thats what matters to me. to perform for ppl. but perhaps i haven't reach till a really proficient standard so i believe i needa workkk.
to those critical people who do nothing but try and deflate yr hopes, don't give a shit about them, coz eventually, people won't want to talk to you like how i somehow ignore u nowadays. read my tagboard and u know whos that idiot.
and i believe this is of a particular reference to a particular person who does not fail to taunt me. went back pri sch. but seriuosly it doesn't bother me anymore.
met many ppl once again, and then they went to my house. played cluedo and bridge and we started the ah lian language. heeheex. and so the people who went back nanhua were: cass,me,yiren,yichen,peiyi,chenhoon,huihui,yanhan,eldwin,qianwei,jiahao and many others. kekex!

and well, joakim is out. finally. but for the wrong episode. it was the only night he performed remarkably well. but well, singaporeans don't appreciate nice singing and talent. so i dunno what they're basing their votes on haha. so its better not to vote. just watch the melodrama and laugh along. coz in life, u just got to stay happy sometimes.
